Beliefs and NLP

Our decisions and actions, therefore, our lives lives are determined by what we believe in ourselves and our world.

Even our health is affected by our beliefs.

We have been propagandized from an early age to believe in our limitations and to suppress our potential.

Therefore, it is important to realize the impact that beliefs have and to decide whether they serve us, or not, in order to explore our potential.

Neuro Linguistic Programming is an effective a tool. It is based on the study of how the mind processes information. It can be used to change beliefs; for therapeutic ends - which is what we are advocating, or for dark purposes (mind control, herd mentality, subliminal advertising, etc).

For this reason, we think that everyone should be educated in NLP. While one of the founders of NLP (Richard Bandler) has a strange background, but our interest is in the therapeutic aspects of NLP. Robert Dilts, an early pioneer in NLP wrote a powerful book, "Beliefs: Pathways to Health and Well Being" that is well worth reading.

Hypnosis is another effective tool. It was used in surgery before the advent of anesthesia. Click here for a video of a woman having her 2 front teeth extracted without anesthesia. People engage in states of hypnosis daily (it's like daydreaming).  Because hypnosis is a tool, it can be used for beneficial purposes or dark ends.  Again, our viewpoint is to focus on the therapeutic aspects of hypnosis.

Here is an inspiring video of Paul McKenna (famous British hypnotist and NLP practitioner) as he works with a blind man who later regains sight.
